How is Pi like an intellectually-dishonest pathetic coward piece of shit?

He starts new attack threads when he's getting his ass whooped in a debate.

In a desperate attempt to divert focus.

    Cuz he's a completely worthless son-of-a-bitch cunthole.

Well, maybe I don't have time for you either Mr. Cranky!

Like I said the problem isn't your debating skills, it's the side you're on.  The side that demands one to resort to distortion and falsehood.

I hate debating anyway.  When I first got online that's all I fucking did was debate.... and flame and troll.

I still enjoy the latter two, but debate? blah...  It's too nit-picky and repetitive.

I don't really care about enlightening others either.  Fuck other people.  I don't even care that much about the race issues, cuz my plan is to go retire in the woods.  Where I can think about other stuff that I actually enjoy.

I realize I can't change The World of Lies.  I can only train myself to see through it.  And reason is the only tool that works to deconstruct sophistry and find Truth.  And sometimes you really won't like where it leads... but nevertheless there you are.

Yeah, go retire in the woods and wipe your ass with leaves.

I have bad news. The World of Lies will FIND you. There's nowhere to hide.

    CHANGE is the game plan.

    And more bad news.

I'm the God of the Underworld, Panties, & Debates.

So you will NEVER beat me in a debate.

I firmly believe self-reliance is the answer. The World of Lies will rage on, but if you sever it's connections to you and build yourself a haven, you can find peace. The memes get passed on through language and human interaction. They get passed on through the media too, but you have control over what you view.

    we've already had this conversation.

i think the ideal situation is 6-9 months in civilization working and 3-6 months out of civilization.

there was an author who lives 6 months a year in a village in india. i might try to arrange my life to do something like that at some point. not necessarily india.

India would definitely be something else.  I met an expat who'd lived like a decade there.

He felt it was more interesting than China, and described it as "kicked back" and "full of surprises".

There's not much in the way of work though, and FTs are hardly in demand since they mostly already speak English.

For me, I just want to live in nature but have civilization a reasonable drive away.  And find some way to make a living with no bosses over me, employees under me, or coworkers.

In the US or Canada.  Enough with these third world shitholes.

I wake up at night sweating thinking what the hell have I been doing with my life here.

I'm thinking about Thailand.  I really want to see it actually.

And I figure I can check out the job market while I'm there.

How much you figure a cheap, seedy hotel room with A/C is gonna run me?

How about money? Do the hotels offer a safe, or do you have to use an international bank-card?

Thailand is a good place to vacation, but for work I'm not so sure.

Thailand teaching salaries have not increased in 10 years I think.

I never use the safes in the hotel. Don't ask me about all this stuff. I just carry cash on me, which is stupid. But the Chinese ATM cards might work there. Check on-line.

hotels. can't remember the prices. it's not that cheap. or maybe depends where you go.

Thailand is less money... but it still might be worth it just for a change of scenery, and money ain't everything. I dunno... I already got offered a job here actually. And that's without even having looked.

Salary is already higher than my previous job, and I've also been assured that the people who run it aren't complete lying cunts.

Now all I have to do is climb out of the bottle long enough reform myself back into a human and attend some interviews.

Or maybe I'll just go to Thailand anyway, fuck it. Well on second thought that might not be the ideal place to sober up either. But then again, maybe it would. Oh man I would love to do some sea fishing!

Thailand is better than China because you can have easy access to nature. It's a small country. Even if you like in Bangkok, you can get out to the sea to do some fishing or whatever quite easily.

China has much more jobs and better pay in many jobs. But the cities are unlivable. I hardly ever want to leave my apartment and I'm getting really fat again. if I was in Thailand, I'd be out walking much more and be in better shape.

I applied to a few places. Never heard back.

    I'm trapped here.

And Thailand is the land of bars + cheap hos. A deadly combination. I hear there are lots of expat suicides. They get drunk + they get fleeced by girls and run out of money.

    Be careful.

Well, it's not like that everywhere actually.

Yeah I've really porked out from being inside all the time too.

Also drinking, liquor has a lot of calories. Drinking probably doubles my normal caloric intake for a day. Plus I love eating.

I don't like to go outside cuz of all the crowds and gawkers and traffic, it just stresses me.

Recently I've been taking the peddle bike out, which is good exercise. Thing is I don't stay out too long, maybe 1-2 hours, on account of all the aforementioned urban clusterfuck getting to me.

2 AM - 6 AM is pretty sweet. Recently I'm sleeping during those hours, but usually I'm up at that time. It's a great time to go walking or biking. 4 AM I can bike around Houhai lake full speed with no traffic, or even just cruise free as a bird on the regular roads.

anyone who is remotely sensitive will find living in cities unbearably stressful.

and we're canaries in a coal mine for everyone else who doesn't seem to mind the incessant traffic and concrete.

even my home city, which i find much more relaxing than chinese cities, the last time i was back i met a girl who complained that she hated it and couldn't wait to get back to her little mountain village.

I grew up in the lovely lovely countryside, and seaside that's countryside.  In retrospect I suppose I'm pretty blessed in that regard.

I spent most of my youth in the woods alone, by the shore alone, on islands, camping, fishing, etc.

On the weekends I'd race down 8 miles of deep woods trail on a dirtbike to get to my friend's village.

This city shit is definitely not who I am.  Or maybe it is, maybe it's who I've become.

The problem is that it's just way too easy.  There's no snow to shovel, there's no long journeys to acquire rations for the next week, no trees to cut or frozen lakes to do donuts on. No wood to cut, no yardwork, no car to fix, no garden to tend.

I *miss* that shit -like crazy.  I just want to build a fucking table or something, in my own workshop.  That sounds like heaven.  Hell, I'd settle for just digging a ditch.

I've been getting more exercise recently, it's pretty much the focus of my entire day now.  And it feels great!  I'm gonna ramp it up as my endurance rebuilds.  This city-slicker bullshit has really weakened me.
