china is getting stricter with visas

Post  The Great Splendini on Fri Nov 20, 2015 2:27 pm

i'm hearing that more people are getting refused a visa to work here.

could work FOR or AGAINST you.

    depending on your situation.

FOR because less competition for jobs I guess.

AGAINST if your qualifications don't meet whatever they're looking for.

    GOOD LUCK KIDS!

That doesn't mean a lot without a link or some synopsis of the new regs (or the old ones suddenly being enforced.)

Cuz they've been toughening up on visas for many years now.

Do you mean more Z visa applicants are getting denied?  Over what exactly?

Or does this mean more visas through gray-legal agents are having problems?

I still think anyone with the proper documents and a legit sponsor has a very good shot at getting a Z visa.

It won't bring salaries up much though, I'm afraid.  They are good at circumventing supply and demand economics.

Being tied to your visa sponsor makes it highly problematic to up and switch jobs, especially if they hold back that release letter.

Being tied to your visa sponsor is a form of control.

But I have found that employers are usually pretty reasonable as long as you don't pull a midnight run.

Sorry, I don't have all the latest regs or more details.

No, not just from shady agents. Some legit schools aren't able to get visas for people.

But all I know is the couple of cases I've heard about are people who applying from outside China.

If you're already in China, I think it's not a big deal to transfer a visa.

Well ok but whatever. I got into a huge problem getting a release letter.

There is nothing in the so-called law about them CHARGING MONEY for a release letter... which is very common.

    Whatever.

When I come back to China I will just keep with the asshole chink employer for the year. And if they break their contract I just won't show up for work and if they want a kung-fu battle I will give it to them.

Cuz I *hate* lying chinks more than the corrupt law.

I will kill every lying chink that comes near me in perfect kung-fu style.

Wahhhhh! SMack! Smack, smack, smack, smack!!

More dead chinks than VietNam. cheers

    i never got charged.

but one bitch went running to the PSB.

and the PSB guy was deliberating as to allow me to transfer to another place.

so i thought i'd get kicked out of china.

    but then he agreed.

so even if employers go running to the psb, it doesn't mean the psb will take their side.

but honestly, i'm getting sick of all this shit.

i met one guy who worked in Hong Kong. He got a residence card after 7 years. this is uncivilized what they're doing. you stay here for donkey years and they still treat you like garbage.

i'm staying here until i can find an escape route.

this country is hell and it's not gonna change.
