why are all the hairdressers male in this country?

Post  The Great Splendini on Mon May 02, 2016 5:25 pm

there's like 50 hairdresser places and they're all full of men.

i like women running their hands through my hair.

but i can't find one place around here that has a chick doing hair.

    what the fuck?

what is this shit? all these fuckin' gay guys doing hair.

i should have an option of getting my hair cut by a chick, no?

    Who gives an F?

I always paid 10 kuai to a shirtless hutong hairdresser.  Guess what?

It was the same haircut I would get from the fancy schmancy 80 kuai salon.

If it's one of those places that do massage though, I insist on a female for that part.  If a male comes over to do the massage and I request a female, they get all confused by it.  Like they can't understand why I would care.  Rolling Eyes

Fuck you and your cheap ass haircuts.

Why don't you just put a fucking bowl over your head and do it yourself?

I'm telling you, those shirtless hutong nongcutters do just as good a job as the salons.

I only care about speed and efficiency. I hate all the shampooing and time-wasting bullshit, and hutong nong stylists give you all that and more.

Here, I gotta pay $15, and that's the cheapest stylist available. They also expect a fkn tip. Rolling Eyes

I didn't get my hair cut for nine months. I looked like a hippie til a week ago, full pony-tail length. Now, I'm trim and proper again.

See, I can get away with anything cuz I have awesome hair. farao

Nah, I like my hair medium length.  Longer bangs, parted down the middle, and tight in the back and over the ears.

I was just being a cheapskate cuz it's so expensive here.

Funny thing, I can go into virtually any hairstylist in China and say "faxing yi-yang de" (same hairstyle) and I will always get exactly the same haircut.

My hair is unbelievably good.  I comb it frequently and only wash it once a week is why.  The only problem is the grey creeping up on me.  I read I can dye it naturally with coffee grounds, tea, or powdered walnut shells -but it sounds like a hassle.  It's not grey even, cuz it's all blended it just looks like a lighter and lighter version of its natural color year after year.  I'll be silver haired eventually.  No balding or recession at all though.  cheers

My beard has long streaks of grey, like patches of it.  It looks interesting, but I shave that shit.  Every day if I'm working, 2-3 times a week if I'm not.

I can't stand growing out facial hair.  It itches and just feels unsanitary/unkempt.

I find that if I thoroughly clean the razor, I can make a Gillette Mach-3 blade last me six months or more. The key is I shave AFTER I shower, so the stubble is all softened and comes off like nothing.

Yeah, washing once a week sounds like a good ideas.

Not using shampoos and replacing it with something more natural might be good too.

I also have gray hair. It's impossible to hide your age forever. I had a hard time dealing with it, but you have no choice but to accept it.

Can you really make a razor blade last that long? I'm impressed.

I just use electric, even though they're annoying.
