The girl I am with now, we have been together off and on for about 10 years.
She always catches me drinking, when she does I am always drunk, so I always go for the attack is the better tactic than defence.
So, after I fail to deny it, I blame her.
It does seem to work, the old treat them mean, keep the mean tactic.
It worked this time as she had left a bottle of strong beer in the fridge and I said that was her fault as she knew I would drink it then probably want more.
Today she said, "I love you," she just did it by habit and then was quite embarrassed, as I said is that as a friend or gf.
One thing I recall about those two Swedish surfer guys I hung out with in Portugal, no matter how drunk we got, the four us (my gf was hot blonde and more their age than mine, a few years younger than them) no matter how many argumets she and I had, neither one of them ever tried to hit on her.
I respect that kind of loyalty, or respect. She was a blonde though, most the chicks in Sweden are blonde aren't they? Maybe they thought she was average.
Plus they took large stones being thrown at them, on the beach, to save my clothes from local Portuguese monkeys who tried to steal them, until I came in from my surf and raced up the beach, and the monkeys ran away.
Just some thoughts I had today when I was walking in the slight snowing freeze.
